Your act of generosity, our longevity
What is Estate Giving?
Estate Giving is a resource available to help supporters understand the impact and benefits of leaving a planned gift to Homes For Our Troops (HFOT). A planned gift to HFOT helps to establish a donor’s legacy by providing long-term support to Veterans and their families, helping them rebuild their lives.
DISCLAIMER: Homes For Our Troops staff does not prepare estate planning documents and is not engaged in the practice of law. Estate plans should be prepared by and with the advice of an attorney to ensure that your intentions are carried out. HFOT staff is available for additional information on the various methods of designating a bequest to HFOT, but we cannot serve as legal counsel, or give financial advice. You should rely on your attorney or advisor in all matters regarding your estate plans.

Submit a Declaration of Intent Form
NOTE: This is a non-binding form. The information you provide will only be used for record-keeping purposes only.
Homes For Our Troops requests that all Legacy Gift donors fill out the Declaration of Future Intent form. Having this signed document detailing the donor’s instructions and HFOT’s acceptance of those instructions, on file with Homes For Our Troops, gives the donor the flexibility of modifying the donation’s purpose without rewriting the donor’s estate plan.
