Happy Thanksgiving from Homes For Our Troops

Categories: Blog, Home, Uncategorized

This Thanksgiving, Homes For Our Troops extends our deepest gratitude to our troops, Veterans, and their families for their service and sacrifice.

Veterans like Tony Mullis, a Marine Corporal who lost his legs in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Afghanistan on April 6, 2011, just one day after the birth of his first child. Recipients of a specially adapted custom HFOT home in 2013, Tony and his wife, Jeanie, are busy raising their two sons, Cason, now 13, and 9-year-old Owen, in a home they say provided a solid foundation for their future.

Because of the generosity of our passionate donors, supporters, and corporate partners, over 400 severely injured post-9/11 Veterans have that same solid foundation. These Veterans and their families are rebuilding their lives in the specially adapted custom homes they need and deserve.

As we celebrate this national day of giving thanks, we remain humbled and grateful for your continued support and dedication to Homes For Our Troops.

Warmest wishes for a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
