Homes For Our Troops was recently featured on the season finale of celebrity actor Jason Momoa’s eight-part cinematic docu-series On the Roam, on HBO Max.
In the series, Jason travels the country, meeting individuals on their quest to make a difference in their field or craft, and in the lives of those around them. He explores not just their unique trade or skill, but a more profound way of seeing the world through their eyes. It is a journey that celebrates those who make a difference in the world.
Jason was introduced to HFOT through longtime donors Richard and wife Angela Head, who sold his antique 1960 Les Paul guitar, a one-of-a-kind that has been played by many great musicians, with all proceeds benefiting HFOT’s mission of Building Homes and Rebuilding Lives.
HFOT’s President/CEO Brigadier General (Ret) Tom Landwermeyer, HFOT Home Recipient Army SSG Christopher Gordon, HFOT staff, and Richard and Angela Head had the opportunity to visit for the filming in Orlando this past spring.
