Homes For Our Troops was well represented at the 144th Kentucky Derby this past weekend. HFOT Veterans had front row seats to cheer on Combatant, who was racing and supporting Homes For Our Troops.
The aviation company Sentient Jet sponsored Combatant to generate awareness for Homes For Our Troops. Combatant’s owners, Winchell Thoroughbreds and Willis Horse Racing, are proud supporters of the organization. Throughout the event, Combatant donned a blanket bearing HFOT’s logo and Sentient Jet plans to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from merchandise sold during the event to HFOT.
Sentient Jet hosted HFOT Veterans Chris Gordon, Brett Bondurant, and Kevin McCloskey and former NFL player and longtime HFOT supporter Jacob Tamme and his wife Allison at the Derby. All were able to meet the Combatant team and other contenders and watch the race.
Even though Combatant didn’t finish first, he’s a champion for HFOT! Read more about the events during the Derby in the news links below.
