Thoroughbred Omaha Beach is championing the Homes For Our Troops mission at the Breeder’s Cup this Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. Sentient Jet, a Directional Aviation company, is again teaming up with Homes For Our Troops for this weekend’s race by sponsoring thoroughbred Omaha Beach to raise awareness for HFOT’s mission of building and donating specially adapted custom homes for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans across the country.

Earlier this week, Sentient Jet treated HFOT Veterans Marine Cpl John Smith, Marine Sgt Kaleb Weakley, and Marine 1stSgt Marcus Wilson to a “meet and greet” with Omaha Beach and his trainer Richard Mandella.  Sentient Jet will host the group, along with HFOT Veterans Marine Cpl Darryl Charles and Army SSG Wallace Fanene, at the track on the day of the race.

The partnership between Homes For Our Troops and Sentient Jet began last year when the company sponsored Combatant in the 2018 Kentucky Derby, Tenfold at the 2018 Preakness Stakes and the 2018 Belmont Stakes, and Country House in the 2019 Kentucky Derby, who came out as the winner of the race.

Omaha Beach will race in the Big Ass Fans Dirt Mile during the 2019 Breeders’ Cup World Championship in Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, at 4:10 p.m. EST., on Saturday. The race will be live-streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.
