Army LTC Toby Prudhomme

Toby Prudhomme served a year in the military in Korea before beginning his studies at West Point in 1992. Four years later, he was commissioned as an Infantry officer in the Army.
On his fifth deployment, Lieutenant Colonel Prudhomme was assigned to US CENTCOM, Information Operations, International Security Assistance Force in Kabul, Afghanistan, when he began experiencing back and hip pain. Stateside, he was diagnosed with service-related nerve damage from operations he had conducted on his first four tours, ultimately resulting in the below-the-knee amputation of his left leg.
Toby and his wife, Lisa, share a blended family of six children and five grandchildren. Toby is a professional sport shooter and founder of Extreme Adventures, a Veteran nonprofit organization focused on providing outdoor experiences to Veterans and their families.
Originally from Louisiana, Toby is choosing to build his home in North Carolina, where he currently resides.
