SPC GEOFFREY QUEVEDO

Temecula, CA

Mission Accomplished on June 14, 2015

On Nov. 30, 2011, during his first deployment, Army Specialist Geoffrey Quevedo was serving in Afghanistan when he lost his left leg below the knee and his left arm below the elbow in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast.

He was airlifted to Landstuhl, Germany, where he was stabilized. Since his injury, SPC Quevedo has undergone various rehabilitative and physical therapies.

Geoffrey is a proud parent to three children. He enjoys going to the shooting range and playing soccer. Since moving into his HFOT home, he has started running more and often runs races with Team HFOT.

Geoffrey is grateful to HFOT donors and supporters for honoring him and other Veterans for their service and sacrifice.
