Army Specialist Michael Monthervil is dreaming of the day when he will have enough space to start rebuilding his life and the special adaptations to make his daily routine easier. Because his current home is not wheelchair accessible, Michael has limited room to exercise and work on art projects. It is especially frustrating for Michael that his girlfriend, Ashley Nickles, has to spend much of her time helping him get ready.
Your year-end contribution is the reason Michael, and so many Veterans like him, will receive their forever homes this year. You are providing these Veterans with more than just a home, you are giving them a new outlook on life.
“Knowing that I’m getting a home that is built specifically for my needs, and seeing good things happening after a tragic accident, it keeps me motivated,” says Michael. “I can see happiness and having the motivation to keep pushing forward.”
